MINUTES

  1. Meeting was called to order at 3:00pm
  1. Library at Regional Campus
  • At the moment, not an actual library but does have study spaces that are available for students: Make sure adequate amount for all students ( including year 1 and 2) when site visit occurs.
  • At the moment, reference books are located at the Law Library. ( 1 mile away ) This is a RED FLAG since at the Hershey campus, reference books are in the same building as the students classes. Need to find an alternative spot to put reference books even if the students usually go online to use them.
  1. Standard 5.4c

This refers to renovations done anywhere where students go (library, SIM center, classrooms). This does not have anything to do with the hospital side.

  1. Standard 5.5

This has to do with the hospital side that students use( on call rooms, lockers etc.)

Question if part a of the standard should be looked at by the curriculum committee

  1. Standard 5.10 c

Visiting students go through VSAS so should be no problem.

Question is o both DO and MD students use VSAS?
