MINUTES

  1. Dr. Davis gave an overview of:

–  LCME site visit (planned for fall 2017/winter 2018)

–  LCME 12 standards

–  the Independent Student Analysis, GQ, DCI, and Final Summary

  1. Concerns from the last LCME visit were mentioned. Most have been corrected including the diversity issue but student debt is still an ongoing issue. We are still being monitored by the LCME on this issue.
  1. Dr. Kothari explained the student pre-survey that was already conducted by the students. He also reviewed the standards that pertain to this subcommittee.
  1. The subcommittee then broke up into 3 smaller groups with each group concentrating on one standard. The groups reviewed their standard and divided up the work. The plan is to start populating some of the database before the next meeting.
